Cargolux ceo steps aside

Europe's Cargolux Airlines International president and ceo Ulrich Ogiermann has stepped aside after his indictment on price-fixing charges by the US Justice Department.

"The decision to step down as ceo has jointly been reached by the board of directors of Cargolux and Ogiermann," Cargolux said, confirming that the decision "is related to Ogiermann's indictment by a US court for alleged antitrust violations".

Cargolux said that executive vp and cfo David Arendt will act as interim ceo until January 1, when Frank Reimen will take over as president and ceo.
