BAA says losses 'nearly halved' PDF Print E-mail

BAA SP, which owns the UK's London Heathrow and Stansted airports, says it has nearly halved its loss in the first half of the year to GBP260m, a 34 per cent improvement on last year's GBP392 million. It came despite passengers numbers dropping 4.5 per cent because of disruptions caused by volcanic ash clouds and industrial action at British Airways.
