India's proposed first independent aircraft maintenance and repair facility (MRO) has been scrapped and the company closed.
Duke Aviation Engineering had planned the MRO to be sited in Nagpur and run by Maharashtra Airport Development Co.
Ajith Karnik, chief executive of Duke Aviation, said the project had to be shelved after its investors backed out.
