A deadline to reach a deal to avert strike action by UK carrier British Airways' cabin crew has been put back until late Wednesday EST (March 10).
Should talks end without a resolution on Wednesday and the union decides to name strike dates immediately, industrial action could begin as early as 17 March.
A statement on behalf of both sides said: "It had been hoped to be able to conclude the talks today [Tuesday] but both sides have agreed that more time is needed and the negotiations will be resumed tomorrow."
