Athens International Airport, Greece, has confirmed pricing of all airport charges will remain unchanged throughout 2010 - including landing and parking charges, security charges, its passenger terminal facility charge and ground handling charges.
Authorities say the decision to freeze charges for 2010 was made to help airlines minimise the impact of the current financial crisis.
Alexis Sioris, head of cargo development said: “The various departments of the airport are united in their efforts to provide our customers with the best and most sympathetic terms and conditions possible, in order to get through this fragile recovery from global recession. We are currently working on further specific cargo measures which we hope to be in a position to announce very shortly."
