ABF starts recruitment drive

The Australian Border Force (ABF) is looking for new trainees.
During their first six months, Border Force Officer Recruit Trainees receive training in passenger clearance, vessel  and aircraft search and cargo and mail examination.

They then commence six-month work placements where they put into practice the skills they’ve learned in training before commencing their first full-time posts.

Border Force officers undertake a range of functions - patrolling airports, seaports, remote locations, mail and cargo centres and Australia’s extended maritime jurisdiction.
