SATS to operate at KFIA

Singapore-based airport ground handler SATS says its Saudi Arabia subsidiary has won a 22.5 year tender to operate at King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.


SATS said: “This award marks the first step taken by the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA) to introduce a second player into the cargo handling market at KFIA and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


“GACA, KFIA and SATS aim to elevate service standards and introduce new service offerings at Dammam to position KFIA as a key air cargo hub in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
