Latam inks Chep ULD deal

Latin America's Latam Airlines Group has awarded a five-year management contract for its containers and pallets to Chep Aerospace Solutions, the outsourced unit load device (ULD) specialist.

Chep will buy Latam’s existing 13,000 ULDs and start managing operations from September.

Chep also will locate ULD management staff in Santiago, Chile, and São Paulo, Brazil, plus open an operations centre in Miami, USA to support its ULD management commitments.
