IAG Cargo and Finnair switch London from freighters to A350s

Madrid-based IAG Cargo and Finland's Finnair Cargo are to change tack and instead of taking space on DHL freighters between London and Helsinki, will from October 3 use belly space on A350 passenger aircraft.

The last freighter flight will operate on October 1.

The two carriers also will increase frequencies from two to five a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday and operate from London Heathrow instead of London Luton.

The new arrival times at London Heathrow and Helsinki will permit better connectivity for both partners to their respective transatlantic and Asian networks.
