CLA ends Africa service, plans Asia and US expansion

UK-based freighter operator CargoLogicAir (CLA) and its sister AirBridgeCargo have ended their operation between Europe and Africa.

ABC general director Sergey Lazarev said the decision was prompted by weakness in the African market.

The service was launched in February flying between London Stansted, Frankfurt, Gabon and on to Johannesburg with further routing to Nairobi.

CLA now plans new routes between China, Europe and America.
