Boeing okayed for Iran Air deal

US plane maker Boeing has been approved by the US government to sell Iran Air 50 737 MAX 8s, 15 777-300ERs and 15 777-9s at US$16.6 billion list price.
The first deliveries are expected in 2018.
Boeing says the Iran Air deal will support nearly 100,000 US jobs including those at 13,600 suppliers.
