Lloyd to leave Virgin Atlantic

John Lloyd,  director of Cargo at UK-based Virgin Atlantic Airways, is to leave the company after 30 years.


The company issued a statement confirming the move saying:  "John Lloyd has decided to leave award-winning Virgin Atlantic Cargo for a fresh new challenge at the end of September. 

"We will certainly be sad to see John go, but one of the many contributions he has made is to build a strong team with an amazing reputation for customer service and incredibly strong customer relationships, driven by an honest and straightforward style which our customers trust and find easy to do business with. We would like to thank John for his tremendous contributions and accomplishments over the 30 years he has been with us and we wish him all the best in the future."
 
Virgin Atlantic is a prolific winner of industry awards including Cargo Airline of the Year, which it has won 15 times.
