Airfreight rates continue to recover - Drewry

The Drewry East-West Airfreight Price Index shows airfreight rates continued to recover through April, with an eight per cent year-over-year increase in monthly rates.
Drewry said “higher rates out of Asia to North America” were the main driver for a 1.7 per cent increase in April compared to March.
“The index is now about eight per cent above the same month last year, reflective of strong demand seen in the sector,” Drewry said.
