A-P airfreight figures up 10.7pc ytd

Asia-Pacific's airfreight figures grew 13 per cent in March 2017. For the year to date (YTD), the region was up 10.7 per cent.
Hong Kong continued to be the top air freight hub with year-on-year growth of +17.8 per cent, followed by Shanghai Pudong at 15 per cent and Seoul Incheon with 13.5 per cent.
 
Overall, airfreight showed strong first quarter year-on-year growth. Among the top 10 freight airports in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East combined, seven recorded double-digit growth for the quarter.
