The UK's London Heathrow Airport handled 142,349 metric tons of cargo in June, a 13 per cent increase year-on-year. 

Cargo between Latin America and the UK airport increased 38 per cent compared to the 2016, with North America up 15.8 per cent on the year prior.

 

Cargo also was up by 9.1 per cent for the first six months of 2017 to 823,322 metric tons and by 6.7 per cent to 1.6 million metric tons on a rolling 12-month basis.
