Work starts on O'Hare cargo centre

Work has begun on the second phase of a US$220 million, 22,000 square metre northeast cargo development at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago, USA in response to demand for global exports.
O'Hare's 'air cargo volume handled' already is 15 per cent higher than last year and it is on track to handle nearly two million metric tons by end December.

The 'Northeast Cargo' development is funded by US$160 million from operator Aeroterm and US$62 million in airport funds.
