USA-based Alaska Airlines is giving members of its Club 49 loyalty program a cargo discount branded 'Freight for Less'.

It enables members to save up to 90 per cent when shipping cargo within the state of Alaska with up to 100 pounds of freight charged a flat rate of US$10.

 

Additionally, members can ship up to 100 pounds of cargo to 17 Alaska communities for a flat rate of US$40.

Individual shipments at Alaska Air Cargo delivered within 24 hours of arrival or departure are eligible for the discounted rate.
