UK-based CollectPlus has added a service that enables people to send parcels without knowing the recipient's street address, just their email address or phone number. 

'Social Send' is powered by the CollectPlus app, and is priced from GBP4.99, with three to five-day delivery.

CollectPlus allows the recipient to select a delivery location from any one of the 6,500 parcel points in the CollectPlus network.

 

The Sender simply leaves the parcel at a local CollectPlus store and the recipient is notified when the parcel is ready to pick up. CollectPlus also provides the sender with proof of delivery.
