Cargojet extends Canada Post agreement

Canadian freighter operator Cargojet has secured an early three-year extension to its Canada Post Group of Companies (CPGOP) contract to March 31, 2025.

"Cargojet has successfully operated a highly reliable and cost-effective air network for the Canada Post Group of Companies," said Ajay Virmani, its president and chief executive.
"Cargojet is fully equipped to service the growing demands of the marketplace."
Cargojet and Canada Post entered into the agreement in 2014, with the initial deal due to run until 2022.
That deal included three 36-month extensions, the first of which has now been agreed early and it also takes in volumes for Canada Post's courier company, Purolator.
