Taiwan's Eva Airways has reported Q3 profit gains thanks to rising demand for cargo and passengers and expanded flights to North American and North Asian destinations.

It saw a 5.6 per cent rise in airfreight charges and a 5.8 per cent gain in airfreight volumes despite a 2.7 per cent dip in capacity.

 

Accumulated net income in the first nine months of the year was NT$5.37 billion, 15 per cent higher than the previous year.
