SkyCargo inks e-commerce deal with Dubai CommerCity

Dubai-based Emirates SkyCargo has signed an agreement with Dubai CommerCity to develop new solutions for the global e-commerce sector. 
E-commerce is a growing vertical for the air cargo industry world wide and Emirates SkyCargo wants the best methods to add value to the business.
 
"We are progressing to where we co-operate more closely with e-retailers with the ultimate aim of getting products to customers even more quickly and cost effectively,” said Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ divisional vice president Cargo.
 
“Dubai CommerCity, with its focus on e-commerce, can be an ideal platform for us to develop and roll out new solutions as well as technology that can be used to improve the speed, efficiency and safety of e-commerce shipments,” he added.
