Australia’s Hubbed inks DHL eCommerce deal

Sydney, Australia-based parcel delivery network Hubbed has inked a deal with eBay and DHL eCommerce to give on-line sellers new options when sending goods internationally.
Hubbed is a parcel delivery service that integrates major parcel carriers with a network of 1000 petrol stations, convenience stores and newsagents for parcel drop offs and pick ups.

Through the eBay deal, eBay sellers will now be able to drop off their customers’ goods at any of Hubbed's 1000 stores, most of which are open 24/7.

The new partnership with DHL eCommerce enables eBay sellers and other Australian on-line sellers with a Hubbed account to send their parcels to their shoppers in 220 countries and territories by  dropping off their parcels at a Hubbed store.

All parcels sent via DHL eCommerce can be delivered to PO boxes, are fully tracked, with instant email notifications options, and receive insurance of up to A$50 in value.

Hubbed's deal with DHL eCommerce offers 20 per cent shipping discount for international parcels. This promotion is available until 15 February 2018.

David McLean, founder and chief executive of Hubbed said: “The Hubbed model has put the customer at the heart of the delivery cycle. The seamless integration of our extensive parcel drop off network with our delivery carriers and our low flat rates is an attractive alternative to eBay sellers.
