UAE-based Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) has acquired nearly one million square feet of German logistics space for on-line retailer Amazon at a cost of US$144 million.

The two centres, located in Dortmund, supply goods to 29 other facilities and are leased out to Amazon on a long-term lease with regular rental uplifts linked to Germany CPI.
