Lufthansa Cargo has invested in USA-based tech startup 'Fleet Logistics', which was founded in 2014 and acts as an on-line marketplace matching customers’ demand for freight services including complex cross-border freight shipping.

Peter Gerber, ceo of Lufthansa Cargo said: “We are sure that Lufthansa Cargo and Fleet Logistics will mutually benefit from sharing concepts and ideas.” 

The acquisition is said to be part of the Lufthansa Group’s overall digitisation strategy.
