Cargojet to launch services to South America and to boost Europe

Canada-based Cargojet is to launch a scheduled freighter service between Canada and South America as well as a second frequency between Canada and Europe from February 2.
Cargojet already carries more than 1,300,000 pounds of cargo every night across North America.

Now it is is expected to launch a scheduled B767-300F freighter run twice every week on routes, including Hamilton, Ontario to/from Bogota, Colombia and Lima, Peru via Atlanta, Georgia.

Ajay Virmani, ceo of Cargojet said Cargojet will offer services to global freight forwarders, interline airline partners and other users of international air cargo services.

"Our recent presence in these markets has led to increase in demand for our services, and has helped us to optimise our overall freighter aircraft utilisation and expand our range of services and customer base," said Virmani.
