First Air seeks okay to expand at two ports

Canadian carrier First Air has filed two applications with Canada’s National Trade Corridors Fund (NTCF) to expand its cargo facilities in Ottawa and Iqaluit in partnership with the Ottawa Airport Authority and Aeroterm.
At Ottawa International Airport (YOW), it would add to its warehousing and refrigeration capacity, while at the eastern Arctic hub, Iqaluit, the expansion would add a large warehouse with modern inventory management and delivery systems, expanded refrigeration capacity and radio frequency identification (RFID) compatibility.
