US-based Western Global Airlines (WGA) has applied to the US Department of Transport to expand its scheduled cargo service to cover scheduled services between the US and countries with Open Skies agreements.
The carrier now operates 11 MD-11 and two B747-400 freighters and says it anticipates expansion of international all-cargo services beyond the scope of US and China/Hong Kong, where it already flies.
