Four countries move to strengthen their aviation industries

China, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar are involved in a joint study to improve air connectivity in the region.
The study will help officials understand issues that need to be addressed to allow the industry’s expansion, said Mao Havanall, secretary of State of Cambodia’s State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.

“It will provide important knowledge in reforming the air transport industries in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar and strengthening the quality of other sectors, including tourism and air freight,” he said.

Havanall also said expanding air connectivity is key to attracting investment and growing national economies.
