Park takes FTA role

John Park (pictured right) has been appointed head of business operations for the Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association.
Park, previously regional manager WA for 
the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia Inc (CBFCA), will take up his new role 18 June.
He will support members nationally on operational matters, manage the alliance’s growing number of members in Western Australia and will advocate for positive reform on operational and policy committees.
 
He will formally be introduced to members at its annual CPD & CBC – Border and Biosecurity Compliance Program - in Melbourne on 19 June 2019. 
 
Paul Zalai, director and co-founder of FTA said :“At a personal level, I have had the privilege of working alongside John in various capacities for over 25 years and know the tremendous value that he will add to our administrative and advocacy team.”
