Hawaiian Air stockholders have approved its takeover by Alaska Airlines.

The deal is expected to boost cargo handling within the combined business.

Assuming the deal goes through, both brands will remain separate.
Completion is expected by 2025.

Hawaiian Airlines already has a plan in place to use 10 A330-300P2Fs for e-commerce giant Amazon. The jets will go into service during the next 18 months.
