Freightos tips profits 'within two years'

Israel-based neutral sales platform for international air and ocean shipments Freightos says it expects to make its first profit in Q4 2026.

It posted an adjusted loss of US$19 million for 2023 after losses of US$14.6 million and US$12.4 million in 2022 and 2021 respectively.

It laid off about 50 staff - equal to 13 per cent of its staff - last year.

Management says its future growth will come from growing interest in digital booking by carriers, freight forwarders and shippers, more variety of cargo types available to book and latent demand.
