CMA CGM completes Bollore takeover

The CMA CGM Group has completed its takeover of France-based Bolloré Logistics from the Bolloré Group, (dependent on obtaining foreign investment clearance in Sweden).


The announcement follows the European Commission’s approval of the acquisition, which has an approximate purchase price of EUR4.850 billion.

Rodolphe Saadé, chief executive and chairman of the CMA CGM Group said: “The new entity, made up of Ceva and Bolloré Logistics, is the world’s number five in its sector. 

“I welcome the 14,000 employees who are joining us. Together, we will accelerate our development.”

Bolloré Logistics focuses on five services areas: Multimodal transportation, Customs and statutory compliance, logistics, global supply chain and industrial projects in 111 countries.
It turned over EUR7.1 billion in 2022.
