Brussels posts healthy cargo rise

Overall freight tonnages passing through Belgium’s Brussels Airport rose by more than three per cent year on year (yoy) in February 2023 at 59,019 tonnes.
The air freight volumes saw a four per cent yoy rise, reaching 48,912 tonnes.
The total flown cargo figure for January and February was 95,287 tonnes, up 4.9 per cent year on year, while trucked cargo was down by 6.6 per cent.
The freighter business was nearly 11 per cent better and bellyhold freight increased by 21 per cent.
'Express service' or integrator cargo fell by 9.2 per cent.
