AirBridgeCargo returning two 747s

As the war between Russia and Ukraine deepens, AirBridgeCargo has returned the first of two of its Boeing 747 freighters to their Chinese owner BOC, two years after both jets were grounded due to sanctions related to the war in Ukraine.

The return date for the second aircraft is unknown.

International sanctions imposed on Russian carriers have prompted global lessors to try to retrieve their aircraft.
