IAG Cargo adding IT roles

IAG Cargo  is expanding its IT and digital team with more than 60 roles to more than double the size of its global footprint.

The carrier already uses digital technologies and tools to streamline its operations.

For example, its new cargo handling facility at London Heathrow involved IT system upgrades and integrations that optimised how freight is moved and allocated within the facility, helping make IAG Cargo smarter and faster.

David Walker, chief digital and information officer IAG Cargo said: “This is an exciting time at IAG Cargo as we continue to advance our digital capabilities whilst progressing on our cloud journey.

“With the growth of our technology team, we are looking for people who want to work in a fast-moving and empowering environment."
