Boeing's delivery woes worsen

Problems at engine maker Pratt & Whitney have seen Boeing’s delivery problems widen from the B737 and B787 production lines to include its 777 freighters.

None of the six 777-200Fs produced last month could be delivered, meaning the plane maker has not delivered any 777 freighters at all in Q1.

The industry itself is reporting growth, much of it e-commerce from Asia to North America, where belly capacity on flights by US and Chinese passenger airlines still are below pre-pandemic levels.
