Amazon inks extended ATSG contract

Amazon is to provide 10 additional freighter aircraft to Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) over five years as part of a deal that deepens relations between the companies.

ATSG will fly the Boeing 767-300Fs for Amazon’s logistics network from this northern summer - and could add another 10 jets.

An existing contract that runs until March 2026 is now extended for three more years.

By the end of 2024, ATSG says it expects to operate 50 767s on Amazon’s behalf. 

The new Amazon deal took ATSG’s full-year outlook for adjusted core operating activities to US$516 million.
