Poor premium figures prompt Qatar's Gatwick exit

Qatar Airways says poor business traffic figures have prompted it to leave London Gatwick Airport, UK and move operations to Manchester, where it will go double-daily from June 01.

Its last Gatwick flight will be on May 31.

Etihad and Oman Air earlier made a similar decision and moved their operations to Heathrow.

Emirates now is Gatwick's only major long-haul Middle East airline.
