CEM wins Hong Kong security contract

A UK firm that makes security screening products has won a US$2 million upgrade contract at Hong Kong International Airport.

CEM Systems of Belfast, Northern Ireland, will design, manufacture and install new ID card swipe and biometric fingerprint reading equipment.

The HK contract comes on the back of other wins, with five Chinese airports in the past year.
