Australians "at Yemeni terrorist training camps"

Australia's ABC tv claims a group of Australians are believed to be at terrorist training camps and that they pose a threat to Australia's airport security.

The ABC's Foreign Correspondent program says 22 Australians missing in Yemen are believed to be at al-Qaeda training camps.

"The authorities know who these people are," Homeland Security Asia Pacific director Roger Hennings said. "The government of Australia is aware of their identity."

He also alleged 66 Australian citizens and residents have already been trained by al-Qaeda or by other terrorist organisations.
