Major management restructure for Brisbane Airport

Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has announced a major restructuring. BAC chief executive and managing director Julieanne Alroe said the new structure was designed to position the company to meet challenges and opportunities across key areas such as planning, regulatory change, property development and the changing global airport business model.

The restructure has resulted in the creation of a new department, Strategic Performance and Development under former general manager commercial services Gert-Jan de Graaff. BAC says this new department will be a “think tank” focusing on future opportunities, long-term planning, growth and innovation.

New appointments include:
Stephen Goodwin had been appointed to the role of general manager operations, responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Airport’s operations.
Krishan Tangri has been appointed general manager assets, responsible for the delivery of key airport projects, including the new parallel runway and the domestic terminal expansion project.
Andrew Brodie has been appointed to the position of general manager terminal retail.
Sarah Thornton has been appointed general counsel and company secretary, responsible for Board administration, compliance and regulatory affairs, airport leasing and licensing, intellectual property and the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of contracts.
Renaye Peters has been appointed general manager property, focusing on the development of the Airport’s property assets across the 2700-hectare site.
Jenna Buckner has been appointed general manager parking and transport services and will be delivering new car park products, facilities and ground transport options over the coming years.
Cam Macphee has been promoted to the role of aviation business development, responsible for supporting and growing BAC's domestic and international airline customers and its relationships with key tourism and marketing organisations.
Tim Rothwell remains chief financial officer, while incorporating the additional responsibility of BAC's information technology department.
Jim Carden has been appointed head of corporate relations, while human resources has been renamed people and culture, under head Gwilym Davies.
