BA crew vote for walkouts

UK carrier British Airways' cabin crew have voted in favour of more walkouts.

The Unite union said members voted 5,751 to 1,579 in favour of further industrial action on a voter turnout of 75 per cent.

The union has not named strike dates and has called for further negotiations with BA.

Unite has 28 days from the close of the ballot to take action and has to give seven days' notice of any strike action.
