ICAO drafts new security recommendations

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has drafted revised recommendations for air freight security for all of its 190 member countries.

The measures recommend that member countries invest in cargo screening technology and force the inspection of cargo before it is sent to airports.

This will protect shipments from interference before they are loaded on aircraft.
