Air France-KLM November traffic up 6.1pc

Europe's Air France-KLM has posted a 6.1 per cent hike in cargo traffic and a 4.3 per cent rise in passenger traffic for November.

The cargo figure was despite a 4.7 per cent increase in capacity and was driven by its Americas' loads.

Cargo and passenger demand drove both traffic and unit revenues upward, Air France-KLM said.

Its passenger load factor rose 1.1 percentage points to 79.1 per cent for the month, with the fastest growth on Asia routes at 6.8 per cent.
