EU queries Greek carrier merger

The planned merger between Greece's Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air SA still faces "some antitrust difficulties", according to the European Union's competition chief.

"We have time ahead of us to find an adequate solution," EU Competition commissioner Joaquin Almunia said.

"If we cannot find a solution that will avoid competition problems, we will react accordingly."
