Another Qantas problem at Singapore

A second Qantas plane - this one a Boeing 747 with 431 people on board - has landed safely in Singapore after reporting an engine problem soon after takeoff.

The problem came a day after a Qantas Airbus A380 made an emergency landing at the same airport due to an engine blowout.

The airline indicated the second plane's problem wasn't serious and the captain had sought a priority clearance to return to Changi Airport as a precaution.
