The USA's Transportation Security Administration is planning to impose new air cargo screening rules following the Yemen bomb threat.

TSA Director John Pistole said he wants advanced screening technology and more flexible search procedures instead of a same-same "cookie cutter" processes used currently.

Plans in the air transport category include better data-mining capabilities to pinpoint and track potentially dangerous cargo.
