Maximus adds ACMI, charters

UAE-based all cargo airline Maximus Air Cargo has launched new ACMI and charter services and plans to add more medium to heavy freighters to its fleet of eight aircraft.

At the TIACA Air Cargo Forum in Amsterdam, Maximus said the new strategy includes ‘ACMI Select’, a suite of premium services that can be tailored to specific needs to suit start-up airlines without AOCs, brokers needing a one-stop-shop and established airlines needing additional services beyond today’s ACMI standard.

MAC's charter solutions will also undergo expansion, resulting in ‘Charter Select’, a new suite of premium services. ‘Charter Select’ offers customers a single point of contact. In addition, the carrier offers a rapid response service that can launch a charter flight in as little as six hours, subject to aircraft availability.

Commenting on the launch of the expanded services, Fathi Buhazza, president and chief executive of Maximus Air Cargo said: "The airline is in an expansion phase in terms of fleet and services. One of our strengths has always been our high level of customer service and we will leverage this - together with our enhanced services and fleet - to differentiate the airline, setting benchmarks in the MENA region and beyond.”
