Forward's Q2 operating income up 23pc

USA-based air cargo company Forward Air's quarterly income has exceeded market estimates at US$7.9 million.

Operating revenue was up 23 per cent at US$122.1 million, the company said.

The company provides surface transportation and related logistics to the deferred airfreight market.
