Atlas results 'sharply up'

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings -a provider of air cargo assets and outsourced aircraft operating solutions - says revenues and earnings for the third quarter of 2010 were up sharply.

For the three months ended September 30, 2010, net income rose 130 per cent to US$33.8 million on revenues of US$326.7 million and pre-tax earnings of US$55.2 million.

For the nine months ended September 30, it recorded net income of US$100.3 million on revenues of US$978.1 million.
